Ashanti Douglas is an aspiring model, actress and pageant queen. She was previously the Miss Jamaica Nation Universe 2021; and had a chance to compete for the International crown of Miss Nation Universe. Ashanti performed very well and represented her title with much confidence and grace. Being a former international titleholder gave her a second chance to compete for the International crown of Miss Nation Universe again. At the Miss Swimsuit Beauty US Nation competition in July of 2021- she was crowned Miss Swimsuit Beauty International US Nation.

As part of Miss US Nation Pageants, she has participated in various Fashion Weeks with Super Chic Fashion Week; the latest being Super Chic Miami Art Basel Edition Fashion Week in December of 2021. As well as attending special appearances such as art exhibitions like “Forbidden Fruit”: female art exhibitions.

Ashanti plans to expand more in the industry. She intends to collaborate with other designers, attend more events and star in movies and television shows in the future. During this year, she also wishes to partner with a premium luxury or exotic car brand as a sponsor for her reign.

Trying to break into the fashion industry has been one of her biggest challenges, including rejections and not being able to work with certain designers. However, Ashanti has remained positive and kept moving forward.

For those who are just starting out in the modeling industry, Ashanti suggests having confidence, know what you want and how to achieve it.

Her favorite part of modeling is the runway! Ashanti views it as fun for her to be on stage modeling the artistic, trendy designers’ pieces, it gives her a feel of adrenaline.
