Delhiites Observe Frequent Power Cut under Aam Aadmi Party Rule

April 02 15:58 2015

arvindNew Delhi, Thursday, April 2 – Aam Aadmi Party has been in news these days but for no good reasons.  Megha Patkar lately resigned from the party. Two of its key members Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav have been expelled from national executive. People who cast their valuable votes for the party, keeping aside the mistake of CM’s resignation last year, are in a state of confusion. It is not easy for them to comprehend whether it was a right decision to bring them back in the game or not.

Despite the fact that AAP promised free water and 50 percent cut in the electricity bill, residents of several Delhi regions have been witnessing frequent outages these days. Though a few said water supply has improved a little bit, they couldn’t close the eyes to power cut, which is reportedly been lasting up to 45 minutes to 1 hour in the early hours and 30 to 40 minutes during the noontime.

“Everyone wants power at a cheap rate but we are not ready to see fans getting stopped and tubes turning off often on a daily basis, particularly when summer season is all set to knock at the doors. If the trend continues for a long time, it is gonna keep Delhi populace sweat during May and June”, said a South Delhi resident.
